Another home made alternative
Our Homemaker's group is making Sock Monkeys for our community project. Another group is making crochet hats for the children who get the monkeys.
Many of the ladies were having a hard time turning the monkeys right side out.
I found 1/2 inch round PVC pipes (used for water) and DH cut them to about 7 inches long on the radial arm saw.
That piece of pipe and a chop stick or a pencil made a great turner - I got 17 turners for $5.
The Ladies are going to love them!
