I was just reading about these and wonder if anyone here has done them with Mickey Dupre's templates? It sounds like it was a theme from her in 2014 and I see a lot of pictures online. I don't care for hexis but I would like to do some handwork.

It's a pretty block and my first thought was "how do I make this in a strip piece"! Have you checked on Quiltercache to see if a similar block is available?
