Quilt more after binding?
Ok so my sons Star Wars quilt is ever changing. I've never done a lot of quilting on my quilts, mostly stitch in the ditch.i had a professional do one but I decided I just needed to try free motion quilting so I could improve.
So I did some stitch in the ditch to help stabilize then did free motion quilting over tissue paper with my designs. Now I'm looking at it thinking "needs more quilting!" It's not perfect but it looks cool. I just didn't have a plan for more and it's for Christmas. Long story LONGER!
Since I did stich in the ditch and some free motion quilting all over, if I quilt my borders can I bind and quilt more later so I can give it to him for Christmas ? Should I wash it after binding or wait until I've quilted more?
