Ina Garten (The Barefoot Contessa) has a great peanut butter cookie
recipe. She uses chocolate chunks instead of chips, they have better flavor. I've been making them for years and they're very good. The recipe is from the Barefoot Contessa Parties cookbook.
Tips:
If you use a dark pan your cookies will brown quicker.
It's important to rotate the pan half-way through so they'll cook evenly.
Crisp cookies are due to granulated sugar. Brown sugar creates a chewier version.
Using room temperature eggs and butter will yield better results.
