I never do a solid back--usually the same fabrics front and back. However, now and then, when I'm feeling brave, I make a whole different pattern on the back with different fabrics. It can be tricky and requires planning ahead. ;-) I posted other ragged made for my grands in the past few months. One set has different fabrics on the back.
