I've never done anything that tiny, but if I had a close-up for the pattern I could probably figure out a way to enlarge it.
One thing that often works for different divisions is to use graph paper with six squares to the inch, so you can get 1/2, 1/3, and 1/6 inch measurements (which you can't on four squares to the inch paper).
