Elise, Your cat is definitely apprehensive about the banana circle. Although I do not presently have cats, I have owned many through the years. I could read a lot of their body language. For example, when they were anxious, their tails always went down, like they were about to tuck it underneath their body--just like your cat is doing in the photo. When their tails were straight up in the air, we said that they were "happy all the way" When they were irritated, their tails would swish quickly back and forth. I miss having cats.
