skip the 7700.
if you can afford an 8900, that's the way to go.
the 8200 is also excellent. just not as many accessories; fewer stitches; and [i think ... not sure ...] top speed is not as fast as the 8900.

the dual feed mechanism on the 8000 series is waaaaaay easier to use.
i almost never used the regular feet.
