I would use the pattern "Tumbling Blocks" with the white for the light, red for the dark, and grey for the medium. There is a new tool on sale at
http://www.missouristarquilt.com that makes it so much simpler to make without all of the y- seams. I just ordered the ruler as one of their daily deals and I wish I had it many years ago when I made my first TB.
