Helen C has the best idea for long armers that float the quilt top--the magnets along the metal belly bar eliminate the need to pin! both my shirts and I love this idea!
At Dollar Tree I like the extra large "ziploc"bags as project bags. Also at HF I got a folding cart to make it easy to haul all the extras that don't fit into my machine rolling bag when I go to guild sew days, retreats, etc. They also have a device that looks like a car antena with a magnet on the end--picks up pins.
I also got a hand switch for my separate bobbin winder for long arm to replace the foot pedal--a more consistent speed on the wind now and thus more consistent winds. (plus frees me to step away and do other stuff too) Also I bought a laser level/square that I use to square my quilts when I block them (which I don't do that often) and Helen also suggested using it to get a straight line when cutting bat--yea! that works great!
