Default Finished my elephant baby quilt

I finally finished quilting my little elephant quilt. I had asked for quilting suggestions here http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...t-t284416.html, and I used some of them. The background is quilted in a very pale gray SoFine thread in a bamboo pattern. The elephant body is quilted with random circles in a turquoise King Tut thread. Those came out better than I thought they would! The elephant's ear has swirls in it using a mid gray SoFine thread. The lime green has straight lines in a lime Magnifico thread. The "E" is straight lines using the turquoise King Tut. The keyboard border quilting uses the lime Magnifico. I applied the binding using a seperentine stitch. There is enough quilting on this to make it nice and sturdy to handle lots of washing. I used Warm and Natural batting, and the backing and binding are the same charcoal tiny check as the border.

I spent a lot more time quilting this than I thought I would! Most of it is free motion, but the straight lines were done with a ruler. As always, I am amazed at the change quilting makes to the piecing. The original was so flat, and now it has movement and texture. Thanks for looking!
