in her method, the fusible interfacing has the exact pattern piece drawn on it and cut out and it is fused to the wrong side of the fabric. After fusing the fabric, the fabric shape is cut out with a seam allowance. The seam allowance is then folded over to the back using the edge of the interfacing as the guide after putting glue along the fabric edge.
NOW, as for what interfacing I used....It said Pellon and has been in my sewing closet for a loooong time. I think it was a little thick but it did make a nice edge to turn against. Since it was only a trial, I used what I had and I think I bought it for putting in a blouse collar.
