I used my birthday exemption
I had to 50% coupons at Joann's and wanted to restock some Kona colors that I was out of so that's all good as I needed them for two projects I already had in the works. But these two prints jumped in as funny enough they worked with the snow and medium gray I was stocking up on and geez I haven't been able to pick a colorway for the Pat Sloan Winter solstice sew along. And it was on sale too. While not normally a yellow fan I do like the look of a black and white quilt with pops of color and already have a great black and butter yellow to throw in the mix. And its my birthday month and the last two years I did not use that exemption so there lol So not justifying here no not at all ROFL
