Yes, I first thread a piece of 1/4 inch plastic tube onto the hook, cutting it a little longer then the now screw end of the hook. Screw the hook into the hanger and then thread a tube matching fabric bias onto the tubed hook, cut this just a fraction longer then the tube plastic and anchor the bias with a few stitches around the wooden hanger. Sew a running stitch around the bias tube, pull tight and tuck the fabric end into the plastic tube with a pointed end of a pair of small scissors, oversew the end closed. I hope I have explained this clearly enough.
