It seems like a good block pattern to use for 2.5 candy squares, even though she suggests using lights/mediums/darks for it. I'm dreaming of what I can do with 1,750 candies...
We've had some cold weather here too, lots of ice lately. One day it will be warm enough to get a cold drizzle of rain, the next that will be all frozen. Makes for bad driving.
OK, in time to be ready for Valentine's day! You are on the ball. I usually start a holiday item during the holiday time, and it's about 9 or 10 months early (ready for the next year). :-)
