I've sort of been following this thread since you started it Watson and intended to take part sooner, but quilting got in the way
. However, I think it's a great thread and I've really enjoyed seeing everone's fabric and pattern choices. There are going to be some awesome quilts made!!
So i finally have some input on my latest project to add to the growing list. I started with a Moda Jelly Roll - Southern Exposure that I had on hand and picked up a background fabric being a Moda Batik from the Wild Waves collection after finding a free pattern on the web called Summer at the Beach on England Street Quilts blog. The quilt is now loaded on the longarm, but here are my progression pictures leading up to it... I admit, I was not in love with the jelly roll when I started. My first jelly roll project too. But after working with the quilt, I'm actually quite pleased with it!
