The English language is notoriously limited. Germany has many more words for things that we don't have at all and have a tough time translating. So I am glad to absorb new words like "flimsy". It is much more descriptive, and succinct. Who really wants to say I have a "quilt top finished but I have not yet added the batting, backing, quilting or binding to yet"....when they could just say, I have a "flimsy." I like the new way. Thanks UK!
