We replaced our hot water heater about 4 years ago. Just purchased a new one to have on hand for when this one goes out. My husband does the work - cost of the gas water heater was about $600.00. Also purchased a new water pump for the well so we have it on hand when replacement needs to be done. None of these appliances chose a good time to go out!
