I used to have an "American Harvest Jet Stream Fryer" with seveal
of the expansion rings. Loved it and used it so much that I literally
wore it out.
Back when I bought it (on QVC Home Shopping) it cost about $250
plus about $25-35 for each expansion ring/adapter. For me this was
money well worth the price.
Of course I am talking about 24 years ago (give or take a year or two)
when I bought it. At that time I had a BIG kitchen and almost every
small kitchen appliance to be had (except for a stand mixer which I
have now in my tiny kitchen).
If I ever got a kitchen big enough again to have another fryer I would
in a heart beat. Loved being able to cook a 14lb. turkey breast in half
the time.
