Some of it is just nostalgia, some of it is just what we like. My favorite quilt show was one where they had quilts from 1900 to 1950. They had finished quilts and some quilt tops. Some were hand sewn some were done by machine. I think I went back 3 times to that show, and asked to look at both sides as many as I could.
