ROFLMAO!! to all the replies to this posting.DDs think I'm crazy but what's new. I am dressed, sort of, to sew b/c machine is presently in living room. Hope to move it to sewing cave quite soon and then I probably won't wear much more than jammies to sew in. No makeup and dresses rarely for church but for funerals. I do have pearls but cannot remember the last time I wore them. My mother didn't follow this advice most likley but my grandmother may have as I've seen old photos of her with hair all done, hat, gloves, purse, you name - the whole works.
