While I agree with you about how long fabric sticks around in
most stores, I will say that I have seen some fabric stick around at Joann's for a long, long time. I made a green quilt for my MIL at least 7 years ago and several of those fabrics (not just one or two) are STILL in stock there.
You might check the website; I've seen other threads where people have found more fabric either at a different store or online. Good luck.
