I can see why you might think it is a number 1, as the fiddle base (which rules out a singer 48, see

But, the cross shape of the shuttle covers on the bed indicate that it is a transverse shuttle, not a vibrating shuttle machine like the number 1. I am intrigued, so I will keep looking . If it is $100, that seems like a really good price for an uncommon machine.
