Like this a lot. Looks (and sounds) like a simple pattern that goes together quickly. Love all the different quilting motifs you used. This pattern would make a wonderful scrap quilt as well. Especially if you tied it all together by keeping all the light strips the same. Now my mind is wandering to the ziplock bags I have full of 2" scrap strips. Hmmmmm.
It would indeed make a great scrappy quilt as you said. With the JR (36 strips used I think) I added about 2.5 yards of the neutral batik. It goes together quick, except for joining the blocks as the seams do not nest as a result of the strip piecing method used. A bit tedious for me, but doable in the end
