I, too, have sewn for many years - since I was a young teen. I quit sewing clothing when my boys came along. I had hoped for a girl to make frilly things, but unfortunately we didn't have a daughter! I started quilting in 2000, although I haven't done anything much for the past few years because of health issues and getting "out of the habit". I do love to read the posts here, and I welcome you from the beautiful mountains of western NC.
