[ATTACH=CONFIG]567902[/ATTACH]Here is the quilting bag I made a few years ago, I used 5 inch squares - 18 across the front, and back - in one piece, that allows one for each end therefore total 18 across, and 6 down and then you will also need an extra row across for the bottom , I put this row on the backside and then sewed it to the front side and at each end. You will see from the picture, I put 3 pockets on the front to hold my square up rulers, books/papers, and placed another pocket for my longest ruler crosswise, it also keeps the bag from bending. Also used PelTex, which is very heavy and you can stitch this into the lining of your bag, and it will retain its shape/ I also put batting in the handles, making them long enough to carry over your shoulder. I wished I would have put flannel inside my bag, and insulbrite behind it, along with a zipper down both sides - then I could have used it as a design wall, and an ironing station when at retreats.
