This is the best storage option I've found so far. Don't have room for a peg board as I sew in my dining room. It's on wheels so I can move it easily. I'm storing my printed patterns also. I found this rolling file at a thrift store

The thing I like is that I can store my rulers & templates with the instructions. Although hanging folders have been suggested before, this unit allows me to make outsized ones. Here's a wide one, made from poster board and 2 canibalized pendaflex metal hanging parts. Rulers stored in these long ones need to be removed from the side of the unit.

Here's a deep one for my 12.5 X12.5 square up. You can see how I cut the bottom off & extended it.

Last week I just realized that if I lower the top rail so the tabs are below the posts, I can get my husband to cut a sheet of plywood and make a top. Just what I need, another flat surface.
