latest update on the Kansas City Regional Quilt Fest--there are 135 vendors with 30 on the waiting list, over 3,500 people have signed up for classes but only one class is full--so plenty of space! At least 2 special collections, quilt displays from all sponsoring guilds (15), judged quilts (entries open March 1) and added space for you to take a breather, grab something to eat and relax and recharge! Also new this year is a larger demonstration space. I'm trying to track down the link for you to get pre-sale tickets for groups. Also, the show, which is at the Overland Park Convention Center (and the Sheraton, Marriott Courtyard and 2 other hotels are offering reduced rates--check the website) is only about 90 min. south of Hamilton, MO--home of Missouri Star Quilt Co. so great "quilt" vacation!
