You will want to pass through Oklahoma City! Visiting the National Memorial (in honor of the Murrah bombing which killed 168 innocent Americans) is a definite stop. Our Bricktown is another destination. And absolutely don't miss the OKC Museum of Art! And quilt shops...oh my!! Stop in Guthrie (a few miles north of OKC)...just off I-35 at Seward Road, go west a mile and you'll see Sooner Quilts. Then on into OKC: Oklahoma Quiltworks and Savage Quilter... In Yukon (a few miles west of OKC on "Old 66" is Threads of Tradition. Then on to El Reno (I've not been to the old Fort Reno, but it's an old military museum site) and you'll find K's Quilt Studio in downtown El Reno. If you want to get off the interstates, drive west to Hennessey to find Prairie Quilts...You'll be glad you did!!! Have fun!! Happy Quilting!!!
