So far so good. Everyone seems to be shopping their stash. Yay way to go folks!!

I've been taking my dads shirts apart. He passed away about 4 years ago and I've just been able to tackle the shirts now. Sigh. Sometimes things aren't so easy. I've been cutting them into strips for quilts for my adult children. One for me too. It's rather time consuming but I'm really getting a lot of fabric from the shirts. I'm doing a Jacobs ladder design from his shirts. On the flip side will be fabric from square dancing dresses that were moms. And there is miles of fabric in the dresses. That design is pinwheels. The name of the quilt will be The square Dancers. Mom is still alive. She'll be 90 this year and still lives at home and does very well. Sooo, this project will take some time and no fabric will be purchased. I have this one covered!!
