I think blenders would preferable to the house fabric for extending the size of our quilt. Do you have some of the fabric you used in the body of the quilt? One or more of them could be incorporated into an interesting border. Borders serve many purposes but they are always intended to appear to be a part of the overall design. Please show us your final decision because we know it is your quilt and you are the one to be pleased.
