The Oaks one (listed as Pennsylvania Quilt Extravaganza) is NOT, in my opinion, worth it. It's held at the Philadelphia Expo Center, which is closer to Valley Forge or King of Prussia than Philadelphia. I've spent more time looking at quilts at regional guild shows than at this show, which is sponsored by Mancuso. www.quiltfest.com

There is a fairly large vendor mall, if you are interested - and as I said, it is near other things that may interest you. You can easily see the entire show and spend time at the vendor mall in less than a day. We might have spent 4 hours there. The only reason I'd go again is that it is near DD's home, so if I am there at the time, it's easy to go to. I wouldn't make a special trip for the show.

Combined with other things, it may be worthwhile, but as far as going to see quilts, there are others that are better. The Genesee Valley guild show, also in June, has more quilts than Oaks, with a fair number of vendors. Not a national show, but inspiring nonetheless. Guess it depends partly on whether you are interested in seeing quilts, or vendors. www.geneseevalleyquiltfest.com/

I AM looking forward to a trip to Toronto in mid-June to see the Quilt Canada. http://www.canadianquilter.com/event...anada-2017.php
