my son and I have been thinking of doing that. After seeing on t.v. that siblings can have different percentages of DNA from parents, we will be doing our soon. As I understand it, mine will go back through maternal line and my son's through paternal. oh well, it will be interesting. I go back to the 900's on my Mothers side already but would love more on my Fathers. not to be I guess. But more info on my son's Fathers side would be great. I haven't gotten far on ancestors. His Dad thought he might have some American Indian in him. Time may tell.
