Hello all,
I have been lurking here for the past month. This is a wonderful community and I am really enjoying seeing the beautiful quilts and learning the great techniques and short cuts.
I have been sewing since I was very young, (my mother was a professional seamstress). I have recently gotten back into sewing and tried my hand at quilting ( I only tied quilts before) and am loving it.
My mother passed away in 2005 and left me 6 huge totes of fabric, a 1952 Singer sewing machine, a Singer 648 Touch and Sew and I own a Singer 1030 myself which is still going strong after all these years!
I have finally decided I need to do something with all this fabric since it is making it's way to my home now....lol.
You ladies are great here and I want to thank, bebe, especially for welcoming me to the message board. I look forward to getting to know all of you.
