Default An interesting place for a pincushion

I wish I could remember where I saw this idea, but my memory is letting me down right now. Anyway, someone else deserves the credit for this. I call it a "pin pillow" because that's what it is shaped like. I used elastic to hold it in place, the original used two lengths of ribbon, tied in the back. I changed one other thing - instead of the usual "leave a small space to turn it inside-out," I left one long side completely open. After turning, I put a small piece of index card inside, along the back, to protect my machine. Then I stuffed it and sewed the top closed by hand, since there was an index card inside. The card may not be necessary since most of the pins will go in a downward direction, instead of toward the machine.

Naturally, since I use a Singer 500 (Rocketeer) I used a bit of fabric with a rocketship on it.
