Thank you for the great idea! I love that you did your blocks as QAYG.

A few years ago, I about had enough of my overflowing scrap bins! So I decided to sew random short strips together, then I cut those units into what I call "Coin Strips". After that, I started constructing 6.5" blocks using more random strips and the Coin Strips. These blocks have come in handy when I get a request for a charity or baby quilt and don't have alot of time.
Next go around, I will have to try adding thin strips and QAYG method.

Side note: This project was wonderful therapy for me when my daughter was deployed. It was "mindless" sewing that I could escape to. My sewing room was a horrible mess for a while, but I'm pleased that mess became something useful and can bring comfort to others.
