dry needle-felting
Have been experimenting with dry needle-felting. Wanted a nice finish, like a quilt...so used a panel of batting and a pure cotton back, bound in black quilter's cotton. All 100% wool on the front. This is for our newest grandson Logan Cosimo. To keep him warm in winter (it's just turned autumn here now).
Now this is done I can work on my grandaughter's quilt, maybe another needle-felted blanket and the dreaded string-quilt for my DIL (dreaded because it just gets kept on the back-burner with these babies arriving), oh and burp cloths...useful, easy to make but boy, cotton chenille makes a mess and it's getting hard to find here.
