As others have said in prior posts, get a cheap lined table cloth, hang a sheet on the wall, put a board over your ironing board and cover it with a sheet and arrange your blocks on that, or use the top of your bed. Take pictures of the arrangement so you'll have a reference point, pick up the blocks in the order you want them and number them so you'll have them in order when you reassemble them to sew them into strips or however you wish to put them together. If you have a design wall, leave them in place for a few days. I found one block turned in the wrong direction in a very important quilt.
