Mine is the 15 yr old Kichen Aid & works like new.Don't use it a lot,but is perfect for nuts etc.I still make slaw by hand,same for salsa.The processor goes from small dice to mush very quickly.Think we are just too used to some things like sliced potatoes being done by hand.None of my newer appliances are used a lot.Old age speaking.
