The scrappy pattern is called Simply Woven by Jessica Kelly. It is a free pattern found at modabakeshop.com. It is a 'slice and dice' pattern, sewing strips together, rotating it and cutting through it, then inserting another strip, etc. Pretty easy, went fast.
