Gay has it,perfectly,correct. Hexies are usually sized by one side. The size from point directly across to another point (half hexie) is always twice the size of one side. If you want one cut including seams just take themine drawn out,in graph paper and then use a ruler to add whatever seam allowance you want. I've never done a t-shirt quilt so don't know if the seams stay the same 1/4" or not. Just be sure to add stabilizer,before you cut, not after. Can't wait to see a picture!!!
