I have gotten better at putting these together. I combined about 60+ strips for each of these and they came out to around 54" X 64" each give or take. I am very impressed with them and now I have some emergency gifts for in a pinch.
I do do a lot of these. I've gotten in the habit of cutting leftover fabrics into either 3 1/2" or 2 1/2" strips and color coordinate them the best I can. I also a lot of times put a applique on them to fancy them up some. I like your slant seams but aren't they a pain to have to cut off the tails? Great job.
