I did really good only using my stash only for 3 months. I'm ahead with using my stash only. I have 4 projects in the works using only my stash. Unfortunately I fell off the wagon 2 weeks ago. I signed up for the BD candy swap here. I bought almost $100 worth of layer cakes (1/3) to cut up into packs to mail out a few each month. Doing this sure made my life easier than sorting through my stash. Plus I was able to use my accu cutter. I have 1/3 of the fabric cut, but I can be up to date on my mailing out for now. For me it was a win-win. Maybe next quarter I can do lots better.
I'm also by passing a local shop hop this week. Of course it helps a little that I'm work a few of those days. In reality I have too many projects already and most of my projects I really want to make and finish. So I tell myself I don't need to buy fabric.
