You just stitch out two templates on stabilizer, A snd B, and basically stitch down 2 columns. Hard to explain, but so easy. It's a lot of hooping, but very doable. Took about 45 hoopings on the sampler quilt. Just used regular quilt batting. I took the sampler quilt to a local quilt shop and the owner wanted to know who was the longarmer! Funny. I was so proud to say I did it myself on my embroidery machine!
You say to use regular batting, please explain regular batting. Is it the really flat warm and natural or can you use poly, in what thickness.
The video makes it look very easy but am concerned about the batt thickness.
