Baby Quilt top completed
Thought I would share a picture of a baby quilt top just put together.

I'm not crazy with my colors. Not sure the deep pastels of the appliquéd blocks go okay with the bright primary colors of the pieced blocks. It was fun to make and hope the young couple at church will enjoy getting it for their baby. I plan to hand quilt it. The newspaper that the puppy is carrying will get the baby's name and birthdate embroidered on it. (if the mother wants it there) Baby not due until July. I think I will call it "Skippy, Marmalade and Crackers".
