I bought one on Saturday at our local quilt auction. They have this twice a year. Last auction this same person sold another one. We talked with her and found out this is the 3rd one she has sold. She had 7 yes, that is SEVEN, of them and just felt it was time to let someone else enjoy them.
The one I bought was the oldest one she had, 1937. It smells like my grandma's house...that sort of rancid oily smell that smells....smelly. It had everything except the oil can.
I named her Judith Anne after the woman that sold her. I paid $300.00.
