Phillip Gulley writes about a ficticious town named Harmony, Indiana. The books are hilarious, easy to read, and you will think you actually know some of the quirky characters. My favorite!!! Other thoughts are "Tales From Grace Chapel Inn" a series of over 40 books about 3 sisters, a nurse, chef and music teacher who run an inn and the visitors who come to rural Pennsylvania. Also I like Fannie Flagg books and just finished "Chicken Soup for the Golden Soul". Happy reading and recuperating!
