petthefabric- they're your UFOs and however you decide to finish them is up to you. I've had some UFOs that I took off the pile, cut into smaller pieces and turned into pot holders-- in my book that's finished even though they started out to be a quilt... some folks have donated quilt tops and for them that's a finish... Anything that gets it off the UFO pile and out of your hair works as long as you consider it finished
and welcome to this thread-- it's been very helpful for me, though I think I'm destined to be a permanent member due to my creative process
