I like the final stage of hand sewing the binding to the back. That's the time that I can truly think about the special person that the quilt was made for, pray for them & think back on the whole process of making the quilt. What I love best is when I struggle to figure out just the right quilt for the right person & all of a sudden a light bulb goes off & the plan comes together. Many, many times I totally amaze myself that I came up with what I did.
