I have a guest bedroom that is in reality a quilt storage room. I ran out of room on my display ladder long ago and started stacking my quilts on the bed. Not very convenient when company comes, so I moved the mattress and layered my quilts flat on the box springs, put a whited sheet on top, and replaced the mattress. When I want to use one of the quilts, I just throw it into the dryer (no heat) and fluff it for twenty minutes. My guests can use the room and I don't have to find a temporary home for my quilts.
